The main CSpro screen features

  • The side panel which contains "Trees" organized at the bottom. Switch the tables to view the appropriate trees
    • Files tree shows all the applications that are open, and the files they contain.
    • Dicts tree - Dictionaries tree shows all the dictionaries that are open, and their contents (levels, records, items)
    • Forms tree- Data entry forms tree shows all the form specifications that are open, and their forms (form pages) and fields.
    • Batch edits tree shows all the edits specifications that are open, and the order of edits. Only available when you create a batch edit application.
    • Tables tree shows all the table specifications that are open, and their contents. Only available when you create a tabulation application.
  • CSpro has several windows (modules) that allow you to access certain functions. Part of the toolbar to the left of the Help button (?) allows you to switch between different types of windows: Dictionary, Forms Design, Batch Editing, and Tabulation.
  • The Working area: The big area to the right of the side pane is the working area. Typically you select an object from the trees pane (e.g. record or question item) and you create or edit it on the working area.
